Mohandas, Anita

Anita Mohandas joined the Greenwood Genetic Center in 2018 where she implements bioinformatics pipelines, analyzes the results and develops algorithm design. She attended college at Northeastern University in Boston, where she earned the title of Masters in Information Systems. During her course work she did an internship at Samsung Neurologica Co. as a software engineer working on in-house software development. Anita has core background experience working on Python, databases, web development, and other programming languages. She also has an interest in utilizing machine learning techniques to help uncover  challenging diagnoses.

Meet Reggie Roper

Reggie has been part of the GGC family for over 18 years. He has short stature, webbing of his hands, pulmonary stenosis, seizures and hydrocephalus along with developmental delay. He carried an initial diagnosis of cardiofaciocutaneous (CFC) syndrome; however, as genetic testing advanced, GGC made the diagnosis of Noonan-like syndrome with loose anagen hair by identifying a mutation in the SHOC2 gene.
