Bassett, Lori

Following several years in clinical practice as a prenatal, pediatric and cancer genetic counselor, Lori joined the Greenwood Genetic Center in 2007 as a marketing and public relations representative for the diagnostic laboratory. In 2010 she assumed the position of Head of the Center's Office of Communications. She works closely with all divisions of GGC to promote the activities of the Center. Lori is a member of the National Society of Genetic Counselors and is certified by the American Board of Genetic Counseling.

Meet Reggie Roper

Reggie has been part of the GGC family for over 18 years. He has short stature, webbing of his hands, pulmonary stenosis, seizures and hydrocephalus along with developmental delay. He carried an initial diagnosis of cardiofaciocutaneous (CFC) syndrome; however, as genetic testing advanced, GGC made the diagnosis of Noonan-like syndrome with loose anagen hair by identifying a mutation in the SHOC2 gene.
