Walden, Kellie King

Kellie joined the Greenwood Genetic Center in 2010 from the Medical College of Georgia where she was a prenatal genetic counselor. She is a graduate of the University of South Carolina’s Genetic Counseling Program. Kellie is the laboratory representative and counselor for GGC’s Diagnostic Laboratories. She also represents GGC at regional and national meetings and develops materials to promote the activities of the Center. Kellie is a member of the National Society of Genetic Counselors.

Meet Reggie Roper

Reggie has been part of the GGC family for over 18 years. He has short stature, webbing of his hands, pulmonary stenosis, seizures and hydrocephalus along with developmental delay. He carried an initial diagnosis of cardiofaciocutaneous (CFC) syndrome; however, as genetic testing advanced, GGC made the diagnosis of Noonan-like syndrome with loose anagen hair by identifying a mutation in the SHOC2 gene.
