Daniel, Hannah

Hannah joined GGC's Division of Education in 2018. She travels across South Carolina providing laboratory instruction for middle and high school students, both in their classrooms as well as on board the Gene Machine Mobile Science Lab. She also works with groups visiting the Greenwood Genetic Center providing presentations, labs, and tours of the GGC campus. Hannah also assists in the development of new labs and activities for the Center's educational outreach programs.

Meet Reggie Roper

Reggie has been part of the GGC family for over 18 years. He has short stature, webbing of his hands, pulmonary stenosis, seizures and hydrocephalus along with developmental delay. He carried an initial diagnosis of cardiofaciocutaneous (CFC) syndrome; however, as genetic testing advanced, GGC made the diagnosis of Noonan-like syndrome with loose anagen hair by identifying a mutation in the SHOC2 gene.
