Clinic Coordinator/Administrative Assistant

The Greenwood Genetic Center has an immediate opening for a fulltime Clinic Coordinator/Administrative Assistant in their Charleston Clinic office supporting the metabolic team. The primary duties of this role include coordinating and scheduling clinics, front desk reception, patient data entry, medical records maintenance, handling of lab samples and oversight of routine correspondence.

Candidate must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to maintain courteous, professional and effective working relations with all employees at all levels of the organization. Microsoft Office computer knowledge required; EMR experience is preferred. Travel to the Columbia and Florence areas is required.

Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a health/biological related field, or equivalent years of experience in a related field is required. Graduate of CAAHEP Accredited Medical Assistant Program is preferred but not required.
